Our design approach for the boutique Sedò in Grado/Italy was to create an outstanding space for high quality fashion brands reflecting the unique position of this shop located on the sunny island within it‘s beautiful lagoon.
Making one shop out of two, the main goal was to open the since 1975 existing men‘s fahion store towards the new area for women‘s fashion. The central display can be seen as the „man‘s arm” opening towards the new women‘s fashion area inviting it to join the new space.
Natural colors, open spaces and light were used to create the display for the elegant clothes. The staged window display is open towards the shop so the wallpaper, the hanging lamps and the curtains in the background create a three-dimensional effect for people passing by.
Finding beautiful branches changed in color and surface by the sun and the salt water everywhere on the beach, the wallpaper with it
s driftwood is a tribute to the sea and the lagoon. The shops colors and materials ranges from fango, whitened oak, nero di seppia to coral for a warm touch.
The space with its 100 m2 has storage for 500 shoeboxes, 51 meters
folded display and 10 meters hanging display. In the back there is a more private area with the fitting rooms, a large mirror and the backyard.
